展览将展出四十余位不同行业、不同身份人士围绕“距离”这一主题的理解而创作的作品。创作者本身与艺术保持着或远或近不同的距离，创作者之间，创作者的作品之间，创作者与观者、作品与观者、观者与观者之间，乃至这场展览内外……距离也许无处不在。

我们会在展陈中隐藏创作者的身份信息，留下这些与“距离”这一思考相关的作品。那么大家的相遇，会发生怎样的效应呢？会不会像粒子对撞机那样，撞碎我们关于事物及其距离的沉疴之见？这是一个有趣的展览，希望它带给您灵感与惊喜。至诚敬候您的光临。

This exhibition will display forty art works about “gap”, which created by forty people from different walks of life and with different identities. The creators themselves keep a far or close distance from art. Gap is everywhere. It is among the creators, among the works, among viewers, between the creators and the viewers, between the works and the viewers, and even between the inside and the outside of this exhibition...

We will let you appreciate the art works without the creator’s information. What is your expectation of this exhibition? What chemical reaction would happen? Will it crash our outdated concepts of gap like a particle collider? This is an interesting exhibition. We hope it will bring you inspiration and surprise. We are looking forward to having you with us.

我们经常谈到 “距离”，“距离”一词是多方面的、多层含义的，就连现在都没有人可以完全将“距离”一词进行定义。距离有许多种，比如空间上的距离，时间上的距离，心理上的距离...

空间上和时间上的距离可统归为物理上的距离。比如月球和太阳之间的距离，婴儿和老人年龄上的距离， 甚至有可以通过感官体验到的距离......距离让我们对未知产生神秘感；距离或许可以给人带来安全感；也可能给人们带来无限的无力感。

因此，我筹办了一场展览，征集到了不同类型的作品。作品的主题均是围绕“距离”一词进行创作，在作品创作 中体现出他们对“距离”的认识与理解。

We constantly discuss about the concept of “Gap/Distance”.  It’s an ambiguous, multifaceted word that there is no approach to define thoroughly. At present, various understandings of “Gap/distance” exist, such as physical range in space, infinity gap in time, unmeasurable distance in emotion…

The physical distance includes the length between moon and sun, the age range between elder and newborn. Through the sensory experiences, unknown disparity emerges as a mysterious force. Perhaps, it stimulates a sense of security, or brings desperate helplessness.

Based on the above personal perspectives of “Gap/Distance”, a burst of inspiration leads the embryo of this art exhibition. All the art pieces are expressed from the themed “Gap/Distance” which fully embodies the internal perceptions of the creators.
